Objective: Examination department of TTB Sindh, headed by Controller of Examination, ensures the integrity & quality of Vocational Testing and examinations.
The operations and procedure of examination department are:
Designing Examination Methodology: The department, in collaborates with trade experts to design fair and rigorous examination system, compatible with the vocational qualification’s objectives.
Gathering candidates Data: The examination department gather related information about applicants from registration department.
Developing Examination Materials: This includes preparation of knowledge examination papers, coursework requirements, and practical assessments. The materials are developed for accurately evaluate a learner’s knowledge and skills.
Setting awarding Criteria: Clear grading criteria are established to ensure consistency and fairness in marking.
Administering Exams: The department oversees the administration of exams, ensuring that examination is conducted under standardized conditions to maintain its validity and reliability and fairness.
Marking and Moderation: Examinations are marked, often by external examiners, to ensure impartiality. Moderation processes are in place to verify the consistency, accuracy of the marking.
Issuing Results and Certificates: After marking and moderation, results are compiled and certificates are issued to successful candidates.
Assurance Quality: Continuous monitoring and evaluation process, as per regulatory standards are strictly followed and further areas of improvement, where ever requirement of implementation is rigorously being searched.
